This is a full-time salaried position for Food and Beverage Manager at Ashworth by the Sea. The F&B Manager is a Department Head who oversees 3 restaurants and the banquets operation. Food and Beverage management experience is required. This 108-room hotel is owned and managed by Linchris Hotel Corporation.

Job duties include:

-Hiring, training, and scheduling of F&B team members

-Successfully executing events such as weddings and corporate meetings

-Purchasing beer, wine, liquor and Front of House inventory

-Hotel MOD responsibilities

-Ensuring excellent guest service in all F&B outlets

-Enforcing Linchris Standards of Service and SOPs

-Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

-Developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and cost controls

Department: Front Office

Reports To: Assistant General Manager

Summary: Accommodate hotel guests by registering and assigning rooms to guests, issuing room keys or cards, transmitting, and receiving messages, keeping records of occupied rooms and guests' accounts, making and confirming reservations, and presenting statements to and collecting payments from departing guests.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned.

1.  Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests of hotel

2.  Verify customers' credit and establish how the customer will pay for the accommodation.

3.  Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts, manually or using computers.

4.  Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.

5.  Review accounts and charges with guests during the checkout process.

6.  Post charges, such as those for rooms, food, liquor, or telephone calls, to ledgers, manually or by using computers.

    7. Contact housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems.

8.  Make and confirm reservations using Signature Magic Formula.

9.  Record guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary.

10.  Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, guest registration, and travel directions, or make recommendations regarding shopping, dining, or entertainment.

11.  Clean and maintain lobby and common areas, such as restocking supplies and watering plants.

12.  Prepare coffee and tea supplies.

Job Title: Security Agent

Summary: Primarily responsible for providing security and safety of the guests, staff and the hotel. Is familiar and complies with the hotels standards and procedures. Also watches for unusual, illegal or dangerous activities occurring on the premises, by performing the following duties.

• Patrols properties interior ground and back of the house areas.
• Patrols hallways, parking lots, stairwells, lobbies, bars and restaurants.
• Ensures all guest room doors are closed and all public access doors locked.
• Looks out for any suspicious activity, and reports to the superiors and local authorities in case of any suspicious activity.
• Maintains clear and concise logs of all nightly occurrences, suspicious activity.
• Responds to guest requests quickly and courteously as reported by night shift staff.
• Assists guests/employees during emergency situations.
• Escorts any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation.
• Maintains safety and security of guests at all times.

Summary:  Sells and serves food and beverages in an efficient, professional manner according to restaurant standards by performing the following duties. Responsible for ensuring restaurant patrons have a positive experience by providing excellent wait service to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Completes all assigned opening/closing side work to prepare dining room, bar, kitchen and service stations for efficient operation during meal periods.

• Cleans, organizes and maintains assigned stations and all services areas prior to, during and after meal time rush.

• Applies knowledge of full menu and other restaurant information such as restaurant hours, table numbers and payment options.

• Uses suggestive selling techniques to offer food specials, menu items, daily desserts and other types of promotions.

• Serves customers in a professional manner as per training guidelines. Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.

• Maintains service areas such as the kitchen, dining room, bar and service stations during entire shift.

• Cross-serves and/or assists team members on an as-needed basis.

• Carries service trays in and out of kitchen, bar and dining room.

• Receives customer payments, completes guest check transactions and tenders proper change to customers.

• Totals bill, presents to guest and accepts payment; tenders proper change to guests using responsible cash handling procedures. Turns in all cash and change transactions at the end of each shift.

• Communicates all concerns to management including issues with health, sanitation, staff, inventory and guests.

• Re-stocks items in dinging room and bar as needed and alerts kitchen staff and manager of stock shortages.

Summary: Responsible for repairing, testing, adjusting, or installing equipment. Completes all tasks with the guest experience and safety in mind. Works closely with Chief Engineer to ensure property is in pristine condition.

• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment, to detect and prevent problems.
• Examines work orders and converses with equipment operators to detect equipment problems and to ascertain whether mechanical or human errors contributed to the problems.
• Sets up and tests industrial equipment to ensure that it functions properly.
• Responds to calls from Front Desk and Housekeeping regarding issues in rooms
• Repairs or adjusts equipment, machines, or defective components, replacing worn parts, such as gaskets or seals in watertight electrical equipment.
• Advises management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, or suggestions for product improvements.
• Maintains equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests.
